A video series explaining the effects of uterine-fibroids and ways in which those affected can be supported within the workplace.
Although fibroids affect such a huge percentage (around 80%) of people with a uterus, there still seems to be very little understanding of them and the issues they can present.
While some don’t experience any symptoms or side effects, others do; these side effects can make it extremely challenging to carry out work duties as normal and, because there isn’t much in the way of widespread knowledge of fibroids; these concerns are all too often disregarded and dismissed.
This project was created to help management or decision makers within the workplace not only learn how uterine-fibroids can affect staff and productivity, but also understand ways to support them.
I edited my audio narration of the video using Audacity to make the voice-over sound more professional.
Although the topic is of a serious nature, I wanted to create something that would inform but also entertain to help viewers retain information by way of animated visuals and descriptive language.
